The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) declares all persons are entitled to full and complete information regarding the affairs of government and the official acts and policies of those who represent them as public officials and public employees consistent with the terms of the Act.

All FOIA requests from the public to the Township for Township documents and records must be made in writing. Requests may be submitted:
1.) in person or mailed to 607 S. Gridley St., Suite B, Bloomington, IL 61701
2.) emailed to townshipoffice@cityblm.org or mdodson@cityblm.org
3.) faxed to (309) 827-3667
Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed for lunch 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.). Records may be inspected, copied or provided electronically. If inspected, an employee must be present throughout the inspection.
